In Japan, renting an apartment or condominium requires a guarantor. Students can use the Comprehensive Renters’ Insurance for Foreign Students Studying in Japan system to have TOHO GAKUEN act as the guarantor (co-signer).

Comprehensive Renters’ Insurance for Foreign Students Studying in Japan (managed by Japan Educational Exchanges and Services)
This system is intended to help alleviate the uncertainty international students encounter when needing to find a co-signer when renting housing. It also enables international students to enroll in general insurance which includes liability insurance for accidents encountered in daily life. When international students use this insurance system, TOHO GAKUEN acts as their co-signer for the duration of their enrollment in the school.

Premiums

Two years 8,000 yen
